DESCRIPTION:     \nThe First Friday on July 3rd will be a BIG celebration! It’s a special theme for July’s First Friday in 2026–“One Community\, Many Hands: Celebrating America’s 250th!” \nThe 250th anniversary of the United States of America will see towns all across the nation holding events in their communities to celebrate and we’re joining in! Join us for family friendly carnival inspired games\, community service opportunities all throughout town\, art shows\, dress up\, after hours shopping\, dining\, music and more! All in celebration of our country’s big birthday and the community connections that make our town so wonderful! \nThe Camas Culture Art Block on 5th Avenue in Downtown Camas celebrates the wide variety of cultures that call Camas home. To kick off the July First Friday celebration\, the DCA will unveil new artwork by student artists with the theme: What’s YOUR American Story? We can’t wait to see and celebrate the amazing art from our town’s students! Ribbon Cutting and unveiling will be at 5pm. \nPick up a passport at the DCA tables in the Fuel Medical lobby (314 NE Birch) to start the night. \nMake your community a better place by participating in on of our service projects\, happening throughout the event! \n\nMake wildflower seed bombs and cards of kindness for seniors with the Girl Scouts\nBring a piece of clothing in need of repair and learn some new sewing skills at the\nMending Circle at Fuel Medical\, 314 NE Birch Street\, hosted by DCA Volunteers. Sewing supplies will be provided.\nDonate new or used children’s books at Autumn Leaf Bookstore\, 334 NE 4th Ave\, benefiting local kids through Little Wings Library\nDonate items to the “Celebration Kit” drive at Arktana & Bigfoot Mountain Outfitters\, 425 NE 4th Ave\n\nItems accepted include boxed caked mix\, canned frosting\, boxes of birthday candles\, new balloons\, 9 by 13″ disposable cake pans\, and cans of sprite.\n\n\n\nArt Shows & Receptions at:\n Attic Gallery\, 419 NE Cedar; Gallery 408\, 408 NE 4th Ave; RedDoor Gallery\, 411 NE Dallas; and Second Story Gallery\, 625 NE 4th    \nShop\, dine\, enjoy art & music\, more!
