The Picnic In Color event will be Sunday\, July 25th from 11am – 3pm. \nThis is a FREE\, family arts & crafts event hosted by the Downtown Camas Association to celebrate having fun with art! Local artists will be on hand assisting and there will be collaborative art projects\, lots of color\, music and more! \n 2027 Activities coming soon! \n2026 Activities included: \nTie – Dye bags with Upward Camas\n12pm Interactive Story Time with Periwinkle’s Toy Shoppe\n12:30pm Puppet Show from Pegasus Puppet Theater\, Sponsored by Periwinkle’s Toy Shoppe \n1:30 Dance performance from Virtuosity\nMake a mixed media collage with artist\, Heidi Curley\nDuck decorating and flume races with Rotary Club of Camas Washougal\nColorful fun with Little Otters Sip & Play Cafe\nWater balloon yo yos with British Swim School\nPainting fun with the Artisans’ Guild of Camas\nDance to win and groove with music from DJ Linus\nDesign a Doughnut with NextDough Neighbor\nPaper Art with DCA Volunteers\nand more!!!! \nBring your picnic or purchase a snack from vendors! DESCRIPTION:The theme for this First Friday will be Unicorns\, Rainbows & Mythical Beasts! Join us Friday\, August 6th for the First Friday Fun finding the unicorns\, rainbows and mythical beasts all throughout town! \n  \nPassport activity: The “Unicorns\, Rainbows & Mythical Beasts Sticker Scavenger Hunt”\, First Friday 5-8pm. Find “Otis the Ogre” in participating merchants and choose the sticker that goes with the “mythical beast clue” he gives you. Add the sticker to the passport. The more stickers you collect\, the more chances you have to win! \nPassports and sticker sheets can be picked up at the DCA table at Fuel Medical Group (314 NE Birch St.) \nOther First Friday activities include: \n\nMythical Match Game\, match all the Mythical Beast Cards in 1 minute and get a ticket to win!\nCraft with the Girl Scouts \nMythical Beast\, Rainbow & Unicorn inspired games\, crafts and prizes\nFree Cotton Candy from Grace Church\nArt receptions with refreshments with wine\, chocolate and live music:  Attic Gallery 419 NE Cedar;  Gallery 408 \, 408 NE 4th ; RedDoor Gallery 411 NE Dallas; and the Second Story Gallery\, 625 NE 4th\nSpecial popup from Anxious Toast inside the Fuel Medical Lobby \nDress in unicorn\, rainbow or mythical beast attire and be entered to win a special prize!\nAfter hours shopping\, dining\, live music & fun throughout town!\n\nCome with a group or take on the adventure by yourself – it will be so much fun! \n
