SUMMARY:Small Business Saturday 2026
DESCRIPTION:Shop Small & Local in Downtown Camas on November 28th\, 2026 for Small Business Saturday! Our downtown businesses will host specials in their shops on the Saturday after Thanksgiving. Downtown Camas “elves” will also be out and about handing out goodies and coupons sponsored by the Downtown Camas Association to add to the festivities. \nAlso\, in participating locations\, shoppers will receive a Golden Ticket with each purchase. Each purchase is a chance to win $1\,000 in Camas Cash!!  \nSpeaking of Golden Tickets\, look for the elves in Downtown Camas during Small Business Saturday\, get a free chocolate bar\, unwrap it and see if you’ve won a special Golden Ticket\, sponsored by Sweet Intention Gift Boutique! Each ticket is good for $50 in Camas Cash\, redeemable at downtown merchants. Will you be a lucky winner? \n——– \nThis year’s celebration is the 17th Annual Small Business Saturday\, marking over a decade of support for local business owners. Small Business Saturday is a day dedicated to supporting small businesses and communities across the country. Founded by American Express in 2010\, this day is celebrated each year on the Saturday after Thanksgiving in the U.S. Since it started in 2010\, consumers have reported spending over $200 billion across all 14 Small Business Saturdays combined*. \nYou can learn more about the history of Small Business Saturday here. \nIn order to drive shoppers to Shop Small® this Nov 29th\, the Downtown Camas Association is participating in the American Express® Neighborhood Champion Program to spotlight small businesses and the impact they have on communities. An average two-thirds of every dollar ($0.67) spent at a small business in the U.S. stays in that local community.2 That means shopping small could help bring things like better schools\, smoother roads\, and new jobs to neighborhoods across the country. \nThank you for shopping local in Downtown Camas! \n
