Games will start Friday at 8:00pm and conclude at 10:00pm. Games will start Saturday morning at 10:00am and end at 5:00pm. Games will resume at 10:00am on Sunday and conclude by 3:00pm. Stay cool!\n############################################\nPicnic in Color\nJuly 29\, 2018\n11-4 pm\nBig color\, big art\, and big fun will fill downtown Camas during the first-ever Picnic in Color\, a family-friendly\, art-focused event slated for Sunday\, July 29\, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Brought to you by Shanahan Farmers Insurance\, Carla Edwards\, Realtor\, Craft Warehouse\,  Lisa Le Properties and organized by Downtown Camas Association (DCA)\,  DJ Linus will be on hand with his popular dance party hits\, free arts and crafts for kids\, art demos and food vendors for picnicking. Admission is free.\n \nFamilies are encouraged to come enjoy the Picnic in Color as it’s taking place Sunday of the Camas Days Weekend. There will be a plethora of fun activities\, all revolving around art and community. Children will create small pieces of art\, which will become a larger piece of collaborative art to be displayed at the Camas Public Library following Picnic in Color. Youngsters will also be given the opportunity to create a piece of art they can take home. They will be painting\, crafting and molding with clay. Local artists\, Anna Norris\, Ted Norris\, Dore Jean\, Linsey Keating\, Tommer Gonser and others will help the kids with their masterpieces (which will be painted using a pizza box easel).  The Wild Hair Crew will be there adding bright\, beautiful color to hair! Mandi and Ian with mandi Moon Artistry will also be downtown creating colorful spray tattoos and cool hair flair!!!  \n\n \n\nFor this inaugural event\, bring your picnic baskets or purchase food from our vendors and downtown restaurants\, as tables will be available for enjoying delicious food together. Enjoy the picnic lunch right on our quaint\, tree-lined streets.\n\nWe are all encouraged to wear bright colors\, as the streets will be lined with colorful decorations\, balloons and decor\, all adding to the vibrancy of this event. DESCRIPTION:Everyone loves a wedding so we are especially excited to announce that for the First Friday in February\, 2018\, we will be hosting a wedding in Downtown Camas where everyone gets to be a part!! \n\nIt will be a “Wedding Affair to Remember”! Nick Calais and Tami Weidert—two of our biggest First Friday attenders and ambassadors—will say “I do” in front of friends and family and the community is invited as well! Nick and Tami have been to each First Friday since April 2015 and have made so many friends and connections over the years. They have a true heart for our community and what First Fridays bring and they want to share the First Friday experience with all their friends and family—and want you to come\, too! \nThe theme each February traditionally has been “A Chocolate Affair to Remember” so for Feb 2018 it will be “A Wedding Affair to Remember”! \nIt will be a giant downtown wide wedding celebration! The ceremony will be held at the Liberty Theatre at 2pm (community is invited!). Our Camas Mayor Scott Higgins will marry them. Tami will carry a paper bouquet (including toilet paper of course!) in honor of our town’s heritage. Cake Happy will provide the wedding cake and food from all the downtown restaurants will be served at an outside celebration with lighted tents\, music\, dancing\, games and more! Your Party & Event Center is generously sponsoring the event. There will be wedding themed specials and activities all through town. \n \nA Wedding Show with local vendors will be set up in Journey Church\, 304 NE 4th\, from 5-8pm as part of the theme including Your Big Day (wedding dresses\, tuxedos\, honeymoon travel planning)\, truly scrumptious (wedding cakes and treats)\, blu box art (photography)\, Whispering Waters Farm (wedding event venue)\, Chickabloom Floral Studio (wedding bouquets and flowers)\, Whimsy Chocolates\, Mandi MOON artistry (certified makeup artist)\, Your Party & Event Center (wedding rentals)\, Formal Flush     (luxury portable restrooms) and more. \nEven more amazing fun in the works for the Nick & Tami – The Wedding Affair to Remember!! Not only will there be the wedding\, there will be treats too! truly scrumptious will provide an array of deliciousness throughout town.
