Event Helpers: Many hands make light work and helping with our DCA events is fun! If you have a love of plants, cars, art, crafts or just love your community and want to show your support, consider helping with one of our events during the year. Help with setup or breakdown, help with registration, staff the DCA table, sell or hand out raffle tickets and answer questions, or help with fun craft or game activities. Committees: The Downtown Camas Association works to responsibly maintain the vitality of our unique Downtown Camas core through initiatives in the following four point approach: Design, Promotion, Economic Vitality and Outreach/Organization. We accomplish this work with the help of dedicated volunteers. There is always an exciting list of potential projects requiring enthusiastic individuals to provide incremental progress toward the completion of Activity Work Plans. Our committees are open to all!

DCA Design Committee: Help the DCA create an increasingly visually pleasant and functional atmosphere for all downtown users, improving and enhancing consumer and investor confidence in the community.

DCA Promotion and Events Committees: If you have a talent for planning events, are a natural promoter, or love working directly with the public, consider helping the DCA communicate our commercial district’s unique characteristics, businesses and activities. We host many events to bring people to downtown, connect them with local merchants, encourage ongoing use of our downtown business offerings, and have fun together!

DCA Economic Vitality Committee: Business owners or entrepreneurial types will enjoy helping the DCA increase the daily foot traffic in Downtown Camas by providing the right mix of services and investment opportunities.

DCA Outreach/Organization Committee: For people who enjoy the behind the scenes work of a thriving organization to raise funds, recruit volunteers, and ensure our community is receiving an exceptional experience when interacting with downtown and the DCA.
