Did you know Natalia’s Cafe added a “new” vintage sign from Downtown Camas’ past to their cafe wall? It is the sign from the original diner discovered recently and donated to Erica at the cafe.

Some history: Their building was built in 1930 and housed the Ideal Bakery. By 1938 it baked 6000 loaves of bread a day to be delivered to Camas homes and the surrounding area (Camas had a population of just over 4,000 at the time!). It later became the Ideal Corner Cafe, a beloved diner that was here for many, many years. It was sold and became Natalia’s Café in 2003.

When you get a chance, stop by and have one of their new delicious Bloody Marys or Mimosas and see the “new” old sign! 437 NE 4th Ave.
