The First Friday on July 3rd will be a BIG celebration! It’s a special theme for July’s First Friday in 2026–“One Community, Many Hands: Celebrating America’s 250th!”

The 250th anniversary of the United States of America will see towns all across the nation holding events in their communities to celebrate and we’re joining in! Join us for family friendly carnival inspired games, a DJ, community service opportunities all throughout town, American and Washington history trivia passport activity and displays, art shows, dress up, apple pie, ice cream, after hours shopping, dining, music and more! All in celebration of our country’s big birthday and the community connections that make our town so wonderful!

The Camas Culture Art Block on 5th Avenue in Downtown Camas celebrates the wide variety of cultures that call Camas home. To kick off the July First Friday celebration, the DCA will unveil new artwork by student artists with the theme: What’s YOUR American Story? We can’t wait to see and celebrate the amazing art from our town’s students! Ribbon Cutting and unveiling will be at 5pm.

Pick up a passport at the DCA tables at 4th & Birch to start the night.
